Why?

Why would I want to label myself as DeadBeat? In typical Josie fashion, I wanted my title to be witty and clever. I always thought that beat journalism was really cool, and in the end I hope I can write about music for a living. I always wanted to be a writer, but I could never pick one thing to write about. The indecision has lead to my most dead beat behaviors, like falling out of good habits. Although this blog is anything but official or directional, it's where I can write whatever I want without needing to please others. For now, It's motivating me to be creative in my own way.
